Project Description

As part of Council's sand dune stability improvement works, Southern Habitat was engaged to complete a range of activities around the high usage access track to North Cronulla Beach in June 2015.

Our Works

  • Demolition and removal of existing fencing
  • Installation of temporary star picket and barricade mesh fencing
  • Installation of Jute mesh
  • Revegetation of the bare dunes either side of Track 25 with Carpobrotus glaucescens
  • Re-establishment and repair of void northern side of track 25
  • Installation of two wind fences on the lower ¬†fore-dune south of track 25
  • Maintenance visits to water and adjust fittings as necessary
